In 1960, economist Thomas Schelling published The Strategy of Conflict, a landmark study in how people coordinate without explicit communication. He found that, when pushed to guess what others will choose, people drift toward answers that feel prominent or natural. He called these focal points.
Schelling Games turns that idea into a live multiplayer format. Every round asks the same question in a harsher environment: can you find the answer that a room of strangers will independently recognize as the coordination target?
Each game follows the same sealed cycle. Choices are committed before the table can read them, then opened together, then settled by plurality.

Plurality payoutThe mechanism works because every part of the loop points toward the same equilibrium. Plurality rewards convergence, commit-reveal removes reactive copying, and the prompt forces each player to model what the group will find most legible.
